In her first series role since her dramatic weight loss, Kirstie Alley will play a Hollywood writer dealing with age discrimination.

Alley stars in the Lifetime movie "Write & Wrong" as a 50-ish screenwriter who suddenly can't find work. Her solution: have her nephew, who's in his 20s, pitch her work as his own.

"The comedy hits an issue," said Susanne Daniels, Lifetime's head of entertainment. "It's a script that she identified with."

"Write & Wrong" will air at 7 p.m. June 3, leading into the première of the series "Army Wives" at 9 p.m. The first of Lifetime's trio of new Sunday-night shows, "Army Wives" revolves around spouses of military personnel. Kim Delaney and Catherine Bell are among the wives, while St. Louis native Sterling K. Brown plays the lone "Army husband."

Lifetime will roll out the rest of the Sunday lineup on July 15.

"Side Order of Life" stars Marisa Coughlan from "Boston Legal" as a young woman who reevaluates her life ? and her impending marriage (her fiancé is played by Jason Priestly) ? when her best friend (Diana-Maria Riva) is diagnosed with cancer.
"State of Mind" is a quirky drama starring Lili Taylor as a family therapist whose life is upended when she discovers that her husband is cheating on her with their marriage counselor.
"Sunday night in the summer is a great destination night for us," said Daniels, adding that many networks essentially close up shop in the summer.

Cinema is a matter of what's in the frame and what's out. Martin Scorsese
