Scrape pass

Does the phrase 'scrape pass' make sense:


Such as in the following paragraph:


"Yesterday, while jogging, I turned a corner, and I almost hit a bus. "I veered to the left as quickly as I could, and the bus just SCRAPE PASSED me."



Note: By 'scrape pass', I mean that the bus just passed a few inches from me.
