Scorn, astute, and affinity

Hello there,

Please help understand the usage of these three words.

Scorn (N & V): great lack of respect or something that was believed to be worthless.

Joe never finished the job on time so his colleage scorned of him. (should I say "scorn him" instead?)

Sue was being unprofessional during the business meeting when she scornfully rejected to hear other opinion, but herself.

affinity (N): a close similarity or sympathy for something or somebody especially because of shared characteristic

Borth (of?) Hermes and Louis Vuitton are high end designer brands. Moreover, they are both from Franch and never go on sale. Therefore, these two brands have several close affinity.

I have strong affinity for those who are unemployed after they got their master degree because I was once like them.

Astute (ADJ): clever and quick to see how to take advantage of a situation.

It is fair to say that Mark Zuckenburg is an astute entrepreneur for creating Facebook and outperforming Myspace.

Many of the employees of Facebook still have their jobs because of their astute business sense.

Thank you!
