Scoop in

Hi,

Let’s say that I want to have my jeans altered but I don’t want them to be too tight around my butt. Could I say that I don’t want my butt to be scooped in the jeans meaning that I don’t want the jeans to be sort of wrapped around it because that would be too restricting?

I heard the word ‘scoop in’ used in a similar case but I’m not sure if it makes any sense. Perhaps you know a word that would fit here better.

Thank you.

The word '****' is rather slangy, and some people find it impolite. In your context, the term 'hips' is sometimes used.

eg I don’t want them to be too tight around my hips.
