Here is the introduction of my paper for a science class. I would really appreciate it if somebody could correct any mistakes in this paragraph. Thank you.
Dengue Fever (DF) is a virus-infected diease transmitted by mosquitoes to human. In the past 20 years, the cases increased 4 times compared to the past 30 years. The increase in human population and migration and the global warming make DF becomes more widespread. The diease is caused by one of these four serotypes of dengue virus (DENV) DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3, and DENV-4) of the family Flaviviridae, genus Flavivirus. They are mainly carried by two species of mosquito of the Aedes types, Aedes aegypti và Aedes albopictus. All four serotypes are proposed to evolve from an ancestor in Afican. These viruses initially were in the forest and infected to privates and eventually adapted to human habitat and spread out via mosquitoes to human. Migration of people from urban and forest to cities and towns cause the widespread of the infection in tropical asia region. Nowadays, an estimated 3.6 billion of the global human population is at risk of contracting dengue fever. First infected cases of DF were reported since 1778-1780 in Asia, Africa and North America. This occurrence in three different continents showed that the dieasse already spread out all over the world long time ago. Currently, there are not vaccine and effective treatment for DF. Although there are many efforts put in research on DF, the exact mechanism of the viral infection and how it affects human body is still poorly understood.
