Hello everyone. Look at the following two pictures and let me know what you call the place where students go to drink water when they are thirsty. They can be at the school yard or inside the school building.

In Australia they call it a water trough. But I am only familiar with this term being used for cows and horses, not people.

In the US, a water station might be a good description. This is a portable water station for sporting events.

In England and other parts of the UK, schools have drinking fountains, also known simply as fountains, but, they are not normally like those in your photographs. They are just big enough for one person to use at a time and often look like this

If I had come up with a term for your kind, I might refer to them as troughs or taps, because they are unfamiliar.

It is difficult to answer that question because we have no such facilities, thus no name for it.
We have taps and faucets, but those are only the plumbing fixtures, not the place or building where they are installed.

This is the closest approximation.
The students are at the watering station.

Possibly, if the person who asked already knows of those taps.

You could come up with your own way of referring to them. Possibly: taps in the playground, playground taps, outdoor taps or drinking taps.

The term "water station" or "watering station" is generally unfamiliar in England and other parts of the UK.
