School Service

Hello everyone. In Iran some cars are hired to take students to school. I mean these cars are hired by the parents of the school children. I want to know. What is the name of these cars. Is it correct if we call the cars "School Service"

For example ....
1. What time does your school service come every morning?
?

There isn't a term for that in English. You could refer to them by using the Farsi term, if you first explain it. Otherwise, you can call them taxis.

I would call it a school taxi.
If several parents have hired the same driver who drives a set route to pick up several children at different locations, I would call it a "jitney service".

You could just say,
What time does your ride to school come in the morning?
or, if the person knows what you are referring to,
What time does your ride come in the morning?

Where in the world are those terms used? They are not used by all English speakers.

"Taxi" is used worldwide, and "school" is common too. We use "school bus", so what is so strange about the collocation of school and taxi?
Jitney is used in the US. Our company had a jitney service

Having gone through the education system in the UK, I haven't heard of that. Technically, those words can go together but, they are not used by or known to, all English speakers. It must be a regional or country-specific term.

I spent a total of 40 years in the UK school system as pupil and teacher, and encountered school taxis in the north and south of England. They are not particularly common, but they exist, especially in rural areas.
