Hey guys, I need someone to double check my letter!

1. Grammar and spelling
2. Word corrections
3. recommendations

Dear Sir or Madame
My name is ++++++ and I just started my study at Assumption University this January in the Engineering Department. I am sending you a completed portfolio about me for requesting a tuition fee Scholarship during my studies.

The reason why I am requesting a scholarship is that I am currently not in a position to pay for the required tuitions fee during my studies. At the moment I do not live with my parents anymore. My father past away since I was 10 years old. My mother and I, we live separately and we have no contact to each other anymore. At present I live with my friend at her parent's house.
Currently I work Saturdays and Sundays as a Taekwondo Teacher at Central Bangna for getting my tuition fee together. But my salary which is 8000 per month would not cover the full amount of the tuition fee. I would really appreciate it if the University Committee gives full consideration and full understanding to my request.

I am firmly convinced that I can show the University Committee that I am able to build a good reputation for Assumption University in many fields like I have done for my High school.
It is noticeable in my portfolio that my GPA in the past 3 years was always in a good standard. Secondly, I want to bring out my Taekwondo experiences and achievements which can be seen as very good record. Lastly, I want to mention my devotion which I had for my High school. I was five years active in the student council where I have been responsible in the public relations area and in the activity area. I also represented my High school in sport and cultural occasions.

Thank you for your time and consideration about my request.
I look forward hearing from you and would appreciate it to have an interview about my request.

Sincerely yours,
