Scholarship request letter
Do any of you guys mind reading and reviewing my short scholarship request letter. I'm sending it to a company that makes sports therapy gear. Any input is appreciated, thanks!
Hello, my name is (My Name). I am a former athlete and have used some of your company’s products. They have been extremely beneficial in helping me to alleviate pain while injured. I also dream to help people alleviate their pain from injuries, which is why I aspire to become a physical therapist. As a physical therapist I would not only aim to rehabilitate injured people, but I would like to make advancements in the medical field by improving upon current prosthetics and even inventing new ones. In order to do that I am hoping to attend a university that has a Biomechanical Engineering major.
I am currently working hard at Palm Beach State College, but unfortunately they do not offer a Biomechanical Engineering major. I really would like to pursue my education at a university that has the major that will suit my aspired profession; however, I find that without some type of financial assistance it is just not going to be possible. Does your company by any chance offer any scholarships to students? If so, is there any way that I can acquire one?
