I'm writing a motivation letter for a scholarship and don't really understand what they mean with the format; It has to be "double spaced", I'm not familiar with that term, could anyone explain what they mean by that? many thanks!

go to 'Format' and then 'Paragraph'. Under 'Spacing' there is an option that says 'Line Spacing'. Change the option to 'Double' instead of the other ones. The computer will automatically put in a line of space in between the lines. If you want to put it back, then just do the same thing and click on 'Single' instead. Hope this helps!
