Scheduled event/meeting

I know that we use present simple to talk about scheduled flights, buses etc e.g. My flight departs at 7 p.m.

But what about meetings? Do we say 'I'm seeing Patricia at 7 p.m.' or 'I see Patricia at 7 p.m.'
(I know that we could also alternatively say 'I have an appointment with Patricia at 7 p.m')
Well, it's just a nuance but keeps haunting me.

Top answer

' Both are fine. The first is more likely in everyday life, the second if you see your meeting with Patricia as a scheduled (business) event.
