Is schedule the right word? or is it a timetable?
We will be going to NY next week and I have written up a schedule. - Things that we will do each day.

Either word is acceptable. Schedule is better than timetable , but itinerary is probably the best word. In my experience, a timetable is often a daily or weekly schedule that repeats every week, indefinitely (or until it is changed).
