Scatter one’s thoughts

Hi,

I know that a person can have a scattered mind, but I was wondering if the following examples also work.

“My thoughts keep scattering.”

“Something is scattering my thoughts.”

Ann225 I know that a person can have a scattered mind I wouldn't say that. There has to be more than one thing to be scattered. "Scattered mind" strikes me as dimwitted.

I wouldn't say that. There has to be more than one thing to be scattered. "Scattered mind" strikes me as dimwitted. I calls 'em like I sees 'em. (That's an expression from baseball, what an official says if you don't agree with his call.)
