I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but try:

It is a good skill to be able to find information quickly.
OR
Being able to find information quickly is a good skill to have.

Have you ever read a long paragraph to find information, I think the method help you find quickly is read introdution part and conclussion part of that paragraph..( It is my idea).
