Scale of

Hi Friends,

An example sentence on how to use 'scale of 1 to 10'.

How would you rank her beauty?

On a scale of 1 to 10, her beauty is round about 8.

Is the above usage fine? Or can we only use this scale for people (and not for attributes like beauty)?

Thanks,

Aj

"Scale of" is fine, but I would say:

On a scale of 1 to 10, her beauty is (a)round 8.

And yes, "scale of" can be used for any attributes you can think of.

P/S: Is the above usage fine? -> Is the usage above fine?
