saying/to say

Hi,

I'm confused about how to use "to say" or "saying". Which is correct in the both sentence?

1. There's nothing else to say now but to say goodbye.

2. There's nothing else to say now but saying goodbye.

I think the first is correct. Is it right?

Thanks

The first is better than the second. But it's redundant. Try it this way: There's nothing else to say but goodbye.
