Saying percentage

Hello everyone,

A. Could you please tell me if saying/writing out the percentage "33.32 percent" is correct as follows?

1. Thirty-three and thirty two hundredths of a percent

2. Thirty three and thirty two hundredths percent

33.3 percent

3. Thirty three and three tenths of a percent.

33.1 percent

4. Thirty three and one tenths of a percent

B. Could you tell me if the hyphen between the first two numbers is optional before the decimal point?

Sorry, I need someone to help me to know if my ways to write out those percentages are OK.

Regards,

JA

Sorry, but they are all wrong. Say 'thirty-three point three two percent'. The hyphen in 'thirty-three' is essential.

I would write these:

33.32% = Thirty-three and thirty-two hundredths percent
33.3% = Thirty-three and three tenths percent
33.1% = Thirty-three and one tenth percent (not tenths)

Joseph Aif the hyphen ... is optional

All the hyphens shown above are required.
