What does sentence A mean, given 1 and 2 below?
1. I was there when I saw/found him.
2. I was not there, but he was there, when I saw/found him.
I think that sentence A can mean either 1 or 2 according to context, but I'm not 100% sure whether sentence A could be said/written to mean 2.
So is it possible that sentence A is used to mean either 1 or 2?
If so, could you make an example for each case 1 and 2?
But I'm also not sure whether both interpretations can be applied to both verbs saw and found.
