Simple question but it keeps bugging me so here it goes.

Hi have you seen the new Spiderman movie yet?

Which answer is correct?

1: Yes I saw it
2: Yes I've seen it.

The question is in present perfect, so I would expect the listener to respond in the same tense.

That's why all these answers Yes / Yes, I have / Yes, I've seen it seem quite natural to me.

Note that there is no reference to a definite time in the answers above, so using present perfect
