Is ' savor' correctly used in the following sentence?

Oh, it's friday. I am happy to have a chance to savor the lovely overslpeeing over the weekend.

I am going to savor my college life.

I think you mean "sleeping in" not "oversleeping."

If you sleep in, you sleep late. If you oversleep, you sleep TOO long and miss something you meant to do.
