Monotransitive is not in my dictionary. Just use "transitive."

Transitive verbs may be monotransitive (taking one object),, ditransitive (taking two objects) or complex transitive.(taking an object and a complement).

A transitive verb conveys action to an object by the subject. "Mono-" means one, so a monotransitive verb takes only one object, a direct object:

"He hit the ball."

Some verbs take two objects, one direct and one indirect. These are "ditransitive verbs. ("Di-" means two.)

"He gave John the ball."
