Saving nature

As individuals we can do a lot of little things to save nature

1) Using water carefully at home is the diggest contribution to save nature.

2) If we walk or ride bike, If not always, twice a week at least, to work, school and anywhere, not too far. It will help reduce emissions of greenhouse gases.

3) On of the easy ways of reducing solid waste is to follow the 3R's rule: reduce, reuse, recycle.

Are these points written in natural English? Please help me make them natural.
