Save on and Save up on / Difference between

Could you help with this please?

1 Buy rechargeable batteries to save on batteries.
2 There is no lamp in here to save up on electricity.

DO YOU USE "SAVE UP ON"

3 Would there a diffrerence between if there was a light in here or not.
4 Would there be difference if there was a light in here or not.

How would you say it?

For some reason I've come up with different ways of saying. Could you tell me which are correct?

1 Would there be a difference if there was a light?
2 Would light or no light make that big a difference in here?
3 Would/Is there (be) a big difference between having a light and not having one?

You can say those things.

You used the term 'correct'. What are your criteria?

Consider something that is correct grammar but would not be said by a native speaker, or which requires some extremely odd context. Would you call that 'correct'?

Does "save on batteries" in sentence 1 mean "save buying batteries" as in "buy rechargeable batteries to save buying batteries" or does it mean something else?
