Save for the blimp

Afghanistan shouldn't be too disappointed with this. They can take positives, like the half century stand between Noor and Stanikzai, the disciplined bowling by Zadran and their fielding, save for the blimp by Hamid Hasan. They can only get better after this performance. The South Africans will do well to study their performance today.

I know "blimp" means "an obesity person" in general but I wonder what "save for the blimp" means here.

Presumably a mistake for blip.

Yes it is a bilp, (the Indian press have spent so much talking about the blimp above the IPL grounds its a misprint). Thought it best to leave it - there will be another three post from the meedia on another subject tomorrow.
