Which is completely correct?

1. The reason I wear heels is because I am short.
2. The reason why I wear heels is because I am short.
3. Why I wear heels is because I am short.
4. Because I am short, I wear heels.

I agree with your answer.

Despite the years of teachers telling me "Don't start a sentence with 'because'", I feel #4 could be the only correct choice.
