SAT Grammar Questions Vol. Find The Wrong One
Hey guys, need some explanation to why I got these wrongs.
I will really appreciate some help and explanations!Along the curve of islands known as the Florida Keys liesI put 'B' but it was 'D'. Isn't "lies" singular? There is more than one island

In the first one, the reef (singular) lies. In the second one, I can only guess that they don't like using "Since" for "Because" but I feel that argument was lost a long time ago and it's commonly used that way now. Oh well.
