Sap

What does "Stinksap" refer to? Why not use "stink sap"?


Context: Rita had been on the point of withdrawing an acid-green quill from her bag. Looking as though she had been forced to swallow Stinksap. She sanpped her bag shut again. (Harry Potter)

So, Stinksap is the name of something J.K.R. has invented, it's a noun, that's why it's not stink sap, which ought to be then stinky sap.
