Vocabulary

sanctimoniousness

I have come across that word and I am trying to understand the semantic difference between this word and the word hypocracy.
Is there any difference in use and context between them?
thank you.

It does get used in other ways but I don't think it is quite the same as hypocracy.

Big difference:
sanctimonious: shows pretense, haughtiness, being stiff/rigid
hypocrisy: means being fake in some respect
