Hello. First time posting, and I hope I'm posting in the right place. I want to ask after "same as", what pronoun should I use? As in the sentence, "My friend was trapped in the same room as him/he". Why would you use one rather than the other? Thank you in advance.
Top answer
My friend was trapped in the same room as him . It is the object position, not the subject position.
