1.
We take pottery classes in the same room in which we take our science classes.
We take pottery classes in the same room that we take our science classes in.
Which of the above sentences is grammatically correct ?

2.
"I bought the same car as yours."
I read this sentence in the Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary.
Is this grammatically correct ?
I recently posted a question regarding a similar sentence. The sentence was "Our children go to the same school as this."
If the sentence I quoted from Oxford is correct why can't the above sentence "Our children go to the same school as this." be correct ?
