Is the following sentence correct?

"What were you doing in the same wedding I was in?"

If not, then please state the correct construction. I mean to convey that the speaker and the person spoken to were attending the same wedding ceremony.

"I was in a wedding" implies that I was the bride, the groom, an usher, a bridesmaid, matron of honor, or other formal role.
"I was at their wedding" = I attended as a guest.
