Same?

Hi teachers,

He's so cute. He look the same .............. when you were his age.

A) as
B) ---

The author of this question says A is correct. Is "as" required here? Can't we omit it? Thanks.

OK. It happens. You can probably get by without "you did" and just have "as", but it doesn't sound quite right to me.

If you have to choose, choose "as" because you can't just leave it with nothing at all there.
