I was in Nyack NY today, and passed a storefront that identified itself as a "Deli and Salumeria". I had never come across the word before. My Googling suggests that it a term ofr an Italian food shop of some kind, but I had already worked that much out. Does anyone know more precisely what it is, and whether it is used anywhere else in the US. Fran I also passed "La Fontana Family Restaurant".
