Saltwater/salted water

Hello everybody,

quick question, what is the opposite of saltwater?
For example,
- sea-water is salted [assuming that that is how you say it], whereas lake-water is ____.
- Saltwater fish and ___ fish.

Thank you for your help.

Thank you Nikoo for your prompt reply.

May I ask about my first example?
Do you say "lake-water is fresh", as opposed to "sea-water is salted"?

Salt water: water in oceans and seas. Some lakes that have high evaporation rates have very salty water (The Great Salt Lake, The Dead Sea)
Fresh water: Water in rivers, ponds, streams and lakes that are replenished by rainfall, and drain naturally rather than by evaporation.
Brackish water: water in tidal areas such as bayous. Groundwater can be brackish.
