Topic: What do you think about actions taken by your government to decrease the number of road accidents?


Despite the number of measures taken by the government to decrease the rate of road accidents, my country is a leader in a number of road deaths.

However, the government took many severs measure concentrate in the punishments of drivers who refuse to obey the road rules and especially who exceed the speed limit.

Moreover, the ministry of transportation changed the driving test in order to improve the evaluation of the candidate thinking that it is the ultimate solution to resolve the problem, so license became more difficult but with a little decrease in the rate of accidents.

Now, obtaining a driving license became a hard challenge because you need an important amount of money to makes driving courses and it takes much time to accomplish it. The driving test includes two parts, one is theoric and other is practical.

So far, there's been little evidence of a slowdown in the number of accidents, despite the severe actions initiated by government, therefore I am proposing some ideas to think about:

First, I think that reach a real safety road need in first place, perform the state of roads because according to traffic polices bad road is one of some famous causes of accidents.

Next, giving to drivers some practical tips to help them how to recognize dangerous condition and drive safety when they face problems throughout TV or radio programs.

Furthermore, as a car should pass a regular compulsory test for roadworthiness, I propose that drivers must pass a regular driving test too, in order to update themselves with new traffic rules also make corrections of their driving mistakes.

Taking in consideration these steps, will insure that we get one day a safety road.
