Safety or Security?
Dear native EL teachers,
What would be the difference between SAFETY and SECURITY? I've looked up the words on several dictionaries and can't find the right info, at least, to choose an appropriate translation into Spanish, because in Spanish we have only one word for both "seguridad".
This is the context:
"Within ten (10) Days after Effective Date, and as a condition precedent to payment, Subcontractor shall submit its Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (“HSSE”) Plan for approval by Contractor."
What do they refer to?

Health relates to the fitness and meeting the needs of people - lifts so people don't need to climb stairs, disabled access, etc. Safety is related to people - the employers, employees, visiters, contractors, etc. For example, are they wearing the right clothing, using the right tools, that they have been trained to use, etc.
