I have a brief question !!

What's the difference between SADNESS and DEJECTION ?

To me, "sadness" is a more wistful thing, to do with yearning, memories, love, loss, grief, and so on, while "dejection" can be more to do with everyday circumstances. For example, if you'd just lost your job then you might well be "dejected" but not necessarily "sad".
