Saddle area

Hi,

I need to ask a question , but I shouldn't use jargon. For example, Do you have pain in saddle area?
So, can I say: Do you have pain in perirectal area?
Do ordinary people understand my second sentence?

Thank you in advance.

Argo80 Do ordinary people understand my second sentence? I'm pretty ordinary in some respects, and I'm not really sure myself. Does that answer the question?

Thank you CJ for response. By ordinary I meant people who are not medic.
So, If I use the word "groin" does it convey ''saddle"?

No. I think of "saddle" as farther back, i.e., the ****, and "groin" as in the front, on either side of the genitals and up toward the belly.

Here's how I take it:
Do you have pain in saddle area? ~ Does your rear end hurt? ~ Do you have a pain in your behind?
