Russian Fairy Tales. Russian student seeking help :)

Good day to everyone! Emotion: smile

My name is Kirill. I'm a student from Russia, and i'm making the research work right now. Its subject is following "Translation of Russian folk fairy tales into English". But it's quite difficult to search for material in my native town. So I expected, that I could find some help here. Please, can you write any famous russian fairy tales, that you know? The result i will present on the school conference as a sociological poll.

Also, it will be usefull for me, if you write about any features of english fairy tales. Maybe about characters, their behavior and etc.

I'm not sure what you want. I personally am not aware of any Russian fairy tales that I know. (Does 'Peter and the Wolf' count?). However, English versions of some are available on the internet here:
