Hello guys! A friend of mine said: 'Everything I love turns to dust. I'd make more of it but I felt rushed by.'
Can someone explain me properly the meaning of the whole sentence? The phrase 'rushed by' confuses me.
Actually, I have a big problem with the word 'rush' when it's used as an adjective. Because I can not find the correct meaning. For example, yesterday I heard a song, and it said 'Making my way on the city streets, they're so rushed and loud'. I mean, I understand that maybe streets are rushed and loud when there's a lot of people and cars, and a lot of strong noises. And people walking quickly. But when I have to translate it into Spanish it's really complicated.
Well, thanks in advance guys!
Emmanuel
