rush back???

Hi guys,
Please what does this phrase mean? Maybe I'm blind, but I can't find it on the internet.....My context: (it's again from Flashpoint). Swat team is in the woods looking for one guy who shot his father. Leader of that team is really angry, because that guy just hurt one member of his team....He's really p**d, but his supervisor said to him: Easy, I don't want you rushing back in angry....Please did he say: I don't wanna pull you out of this, because you're angry??? I have never heard "rush back"..:-( and inet didn't give me clear answer....So thanks in advance..:-)
Best Regards

I think what confuses you is that you should have underlined the sentence in this way: Easy, I don't want you rushing back in angry . The team leader does not want the man to run (rush) back into (in) the manhunt until he has calmed down. It could have been phrased in this way: Easy, I don't want you running back inside [while you're] angry .
