Can someone please so kind as to correct the following bold parts?

This happened to me as well. I paid them in full in 2005 and requested to have my account closed. But they were charging me of the annual fee when in fact I didn't request for renewal and that they also didn't renew my account. There was about $200 left on my credit and was the reason they could not close my account
