Run on sentence?

Although, there are some media that may not illustrate a realistic depiction of family life, there are a few media that does an excellent job of representing family life.

My big problem is run on sentence. Is the sentence above an example of this problem?

Thank you in advance.

I do not find this sentence to be a run-on; however, you have some other errors. See the usage note below regarding media. It may not be the word you want to use, or you may want to say "in the media" to collectively refer to the institutions behind the form of communication rather than the form (medium) of communication itself.
