Run my only snitch out of town

I'm not about to let a loan shark run my only snitch out of town.

What does it mean run sb out of town?

It means punishment or

to force someone to leave a town?

thanks...

Hi,

As I said, it sounds rather informal, and if I understand you, it's taken from a T.V series.

It probably means I won't permit the loan shark to force me into leaving this town. Snitch is the word

which makes this sound informal.
