Rules regarding quotation marks

Simple conversations builders, such as 'are you enjoying that?' and 'how did you do that?' are easy to remember.

I prefer simple instructions, such as 'close the door' and 'go get the cutlery.'

Questions: Do I use a capital letter for the words: are, how, close,and go? Question mark inside or outside the quotation mark? Comma after such as?
