You are ruining my pleasure To me, this sounds much too dramatic for such a simple, ordinary context.

What is it you would say?

eg You're bothering me.

Interrupt: Isn't that not the best word. Maybe disturb or disrupt? What do you think?
0
Maybe. Those words do not focus quite so strongly on the idea of 'pleasure'.
And you already used the word 'imterrupt' in your second sentence.

I don't understand your answer. Should I have used the word interrupt or disturb or disrupt?
0
Of those three, the best choice is 'disturb'.

I already told you what I would say.

Perhaps you do not realize that in English culture an occasional 'please' and/or 'thank you' is appreciated.

ps you didn't tell me which word you chose before.
