''I think there's a time and a place for being an ornament...But I think there's an awful lot more from actually doing stuff, and this is an example of what I just want to actually be more involved in, doing a slightly different angle on it'.

This is an excerpt from an interview to Prince William talking about his involvement in charities. The underlined bit is the part I find it difficult to understand. Some guidelines explain that it should mean something like 'being actively involved, participating ' . However I find the whole period a bit confusing. Can I have your opinion on that?

He misspoke. But I think there's an awful lot more from actually doing stuff ~ But I think I gain much more satisfaction from contributing my time in a more active way CJ
