Hello!
I'm interested whether a round is a part of gun, or simply a general word which describes something that is involved in the process of putting safety on or off on a gun. What is chambered?
She could not honestly recall if the safety was on or off. What she did know was that a round was already chambered. Once the safety was off, a tap on the trigger would fire the weapon.

Thanks Pieanne and Clive, meanwhile I was told that it means that the bullet is in the tube of the gun. (that part of gun besides handle and magazine). Is the tube the same as chamber or is the chamber a special compartment?
