Hello everybody.
Golfers aren’t alone. Loss aversion relative to a salient goal shows up all over the place:baseball players change their behavior as the season is about to end, in an attempt to get their batting average above .300, and high school students are more likely to repeat their SAT exams if they fell just short of a round number.
Would you please tell me what salient goal and round number mean?
