Hi

Are these lines natural? Any suggestions are welcome.

Rote learning has been one of the biggest misfortunes of our schooling system. Students cram concepts after concepts without knowing one bit about them. And they continue to be promoted to the next grade each year.

But now things are looking up. There are many schools following GCE and IGCSE systems. The syllabi of such systems leave very little option to cram a concept as each concept requires creative learning to be dealt with in the exam.

Thanks,

Tom

PS: What is your preference? Syllabi or syllabuses?
